Rumex scatatus
Hardy, edible perennial herb with large heart shaped leaves that have a mild lemon or citrus flavour.
Use in soups, salads and sauces, fresh or dried as you would use spinach. Sorrel tea is reputed to sooth sore throats.

Planting Guide: Prefers well drained soil and tolerant of most soil types. Apply liquid fertiliser during the growing season. Mulch well to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds.
