DESCRIPTION - An attractive red/ purple form of this popular and easy to grow Mexican Sage.
FEATURES - There are more than 900 species of Salvia with flowers that range from electric blue through bright red to golden yellow. This is a classic sage with masses of stunning red/ purple flowers above soft grey green foliage. A large mounding selection from Lambley Nursery in Victoria.
FLOWERS - Red/purple, velvet flowers from late summer through autumn.
PLANT WITH - The waving stems of colorful flowers look great planted with other salvia like S buchananii and Waverley, Megan's Magic or a mass planting of Penstemon or Lavender.
CULTIVATION - Salvia 'Red Harry' tolerates most soil types in any full sun position and will respond well to a medium prune in late spring.
FERTILISING - Regular applications of Seasol & PowerFeed - mid spring to mid autumn.
