DESCRIPTION - Spectacular large shrub that produces a delightful winter display.
FEATURES - There are more than 900 species of Salvia with flowers that range from electric blue through bright red to golden, yellow. S. gesneriflora and its cultivars are large to yery large plants - reportedly reaching 7m in the wild but much smaller in cultivation. 'Coral Delight' is a large shrub with lime green foliage and an attractive floral display.
FLOWERS - Coral pink trumpets from mid winter to early spring.
PLANT WITH - Other large Salvia like Tequila', 'Black and Blue' or S. madrensis for a great array of colour or as a backdrop to a bed of lavender or Penstemon.
CULTIVATION - Coral Delight tolerates most soil types, prefers a full sun position with some afternoon shade in the heat of summer and a medium prune in late spring.
FERTILISING - Regular applications of Seasol & PowerFeed - mid spring to mid autumn.
