Mentha pulegium
Groundcover with small, shiny, oval-shaped, green leaves and tiny, mauve flowers.
Plant beside paths, between stepping stones and beneath garden seats to enjoy aroma when crushed or mass plant as a substitute for lawn. Fertilise during the growing season.
Position: Full sun. Prefers moist, fertile, well drained soil.
Flower: Summer.
