
The Old Stone finish is achieved by sandblasting high fired ceramic pots giving an ancient earthy look to the pot without losing their remarkable durability.
The original pottery used for this process has been used historically in Vietnam for water storage and as sauce jars. This process has taken a rather drab and utilitarian product and breathed new life into it.
While these products are still relatively affordable, the clay is becoming increasingly hard to source as the original kiln sites fall victim to urban expansion making the future of this product uncertain.
To clean use a mild soapy water and a soft bristle brush or rag. Avoid harsh chemical and abrasives.
