Not to be confused with their large fruit eating cousins, micro bats and insectivorous, consuming vast quantities of insects every evening. Known to eat up to 500 insects per hour and up to 40% of their body weight in an evening, these hard working creatures can help control insect populations in your garden.
Simply hang one or more bat boxes in different parts of your garden to provide a variety of roosting sites. The best location is on a tree at least 4 metres off the ground.
