Ice 'n' Roses Merlot is a compact, medium sized plant with masses of flowers in late winter to early spring. It grows to about 50cm wide and 40cm tall. The flowers occur in a central bunch, are outward facing and are a rich maroon.
Requires little effort to keep it performing and growing well. Give regular feeds with Seasol and PowerFeed from autumn to spring. Remove the spent flowers prior to seed set and trim off any ratty leaves. It is not necessary but will give you a better floral display if most of the leaves are trimmed back during late autumn.
