Helleborus x glandorfensis
Ice 'n' Roses is part of a collection of named Helleborus varieties bred for very high quality in appearance and performance. Only about 1 in 100,000 seedlings meet the high standards necessary for possible inclusion in the 'Helleborus Gold Collection'.
Ice 'n' Roses Early Red is a compact, medium sized palnt with masses of flowers in mid to late winter. It grows to 50cm wide and 40cm tll. The flowers occur in a central bunch, are outward facing and are a deep red.
Give regular feeds of Seasol and PowerFeed from autumn to spring. Remove spent flowers prior to seed set and trim off any ratty leaves. I tis not fecessary but will give you a better floral display if most of the leaves are trimmed back during late autumn.
