Helleborus foetidus 'Siena'
Valued for attractive finely divided foliage and a tall shrubby habit, Helleborus foetidus provides year round interest in the garden. This selected form has large clusters of small bell shaped pole green flowers in Winter and dark green foliage with broader than usual lealets. A tough and vigorous form. Good drainage is important.

Width: grows to 45cm
Position: Semi-shade to full shade. Ideal under and around deciduous trees and shrubs. Best in well-drained fertile garden soil that has had organic matter added.
Flowering period: June to September
Maintenance: Remove old flowering stems in Spring.
