Eschscholzia californica or Californian Poppy
Ideal for cottage gardens, perennial borders, rockeries and garden beds, this hardy, short-lived perennial plant features ferny grey-green foliage and attractive deep apricot semi-double flowers in spring and summer. It self seeds freely and grows best in well drained, friable soils enriched with compost.
Plants prefer moisture but will tolerate short periods of dryness.
