SPECIAL QUALITIES: This plant has delightful pureed strawberry coloured flowers clustered along a stout upright stem arising from a bed of soft green foliage.
FLOWERS: Strawberry-pink flowers over summer.

HABIT: Forms a rosette of large veined leaves with the flowering stem rising from the centre of the leaves giving a lovely symmetrical habit.
POSITION & USES: Part shade or sun in normal garden soil. Ideal for cottage gardens but its symmetrical habit encourages creative use in more formal styles.
CULTIVATION: Cut the flower stem to the ground whenflowers finish. Mulch in hot weather and use pet safe snail baits as necessary The addition of organic matter is beneficial.
FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed over spring and summer will keep it looking its best.
