Narcissus
Daffodils are very visually appealing when planted in clumps, the larger the clump the greater effect. Well suited to pots and make wonderful cut flowers.

Height: 30-40 cm
Blooming time: Blooms in late Winter, early Spring
Soil Position: Enjoys a well drained, slightly acidic soil. A full sun position with some protection from the wind is ideal. Will not flourish if position is too shady.
Position: Full sun/Part shade
Caution: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant
Planting Time: Plant from March onwards
Cultivation: Prepare your soil by digging through well rotted manure a few weeks prior to planting your bulbs. Make sure your bulbs are planted pointy end up. Leave bulbs in the ground undisturbed for years to naturalise.
