Prunus avium Lapins
The large heart shaped fruit has dark red to black skin and firm sweet red flesh. It can be used for fresh fruit, jams and preserves. Suitable for cooler climate areas.
Maturity: Late December (Late season).
Self pollinating
Tree care: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
