Prunus armeniaca Moorpark
Moorpark is a medium to large sized fruit with orange skin and flesh. A very popular variety as it produces a deliciously flavoured eating fruit that is also used for jams, preserves and drying.
Maturity: Late January to early February (Mid to late season).
Self Pollinating
Tree care: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourange new growth.
