A dramatic biennial plant with deep plum leaves on arching stems. Large stems emerge in mid summer followed by large umbels of pale purple pink flowers with dark reddish-purple stems, rich in nectar. A stunning bee attracting plant, it will gently self seed around the parent plant. Ideal in mixed borders in a sunny to lightly shaded position. Flowering at about 1.5m high.
