Purple Tipped Cootamundra
A popular wattle which has fern-like foliage, with a distinctive bright purple to burgundy tine. In winter this hardy evergreen tree is covered in masses of golden-yellow, fluffy, rounded flowers.
Grow for its magnificent winter display. Useful as a windbreak, screening plant and shelter. Bird attracting.
Grows best in full sun. Tolerates most soils and conditions, including coastal exposure, extreme temperatures and short periods of water-logging. Pruning after flowering will increase longevity of this wattle.
