Luculia gratissima
A beautiful semi-evergreen shrub with large soft leaves and very sweetly scented deep pink flowers produced early winter. Plant in a well drained soil and protect from frost and excessive sun. Ideal for planting as a background plant and also excellent as a large tub specimen. Prune after flowering to produce bushy new growth and feed with a good quality organic fertiliser.
