Brassica oleracea var. capitata
Sugarloaf is a strongly recommended variety. It has an excellent flavour whether cooked or served cold in salads. The compact, conical heads mature over several weeks.
How To Grow
Drop seeds 15mm (half inch) deep in seedbed, tray or punnet. Keep moist. Transplant to final positions when they have developed 2-4 leaves. Allow 40-60cm (18-24in) between plants; firm in and keep well watered.

When heads are firm but quite small.
