Citrus leaf miner mots lay eggs on new leaves and the hatching grub then burrows inside the leaf. As the grub feeds it leaves a silvery trail and causes the leaf to curl and distort.
The eco–CLM Trap breaks this lifecycle by using a pheromone to attract male citrus leaf miner moths and catch them in the sticky trap. Beneficial insects are not attracted to the pheromone.
