Helleborus x glandorfensis
The Christmas Rose (Helleborus niger) and the Lenten Rose (Helleborus x hybridus) are two special plants whose radiant beauty gives us more enjoyment than most other winter flowering plants.
Ice 'n' Roses is part of a collection of named Helleborus varities bred for very high quality in appearance and performance. A compact, medium sized plant with masses of flowers in late winter and early spring. It grows to 50cm wide and 40cm tall. The flowers occur in a central bunch, are outward facing and a crisp, clear white.
Requires little effort to keep it performing and growing well. Give regular feeds with Seasol and PowerFeed from Autum to Spring. Remove spent flowers prior to seed and trim off any ratty leaves. It is not necesary but will give you a better floral display if most of the leaves are trimmed back during late autumn.
