Anethum graveolens
A feathery leafed annual herb producing sweet delicate foliage. Requires a sunny, well drained position and will survive drier conditions. Suitable for pots.
Position: Full sun.
Height: 30cm.
Harvest: Harvest fresh tips all year round. Prune flower stem in Summer to encourage fresh growth. Dill can be used fresh or dried.
Uses: Leaves can be used to flavour fish, yoghurt, dips, egg, potato and vegetable dishes. Seeds are used to flavour pickles.
