
Iris x hollandica
A very elegant, striking flower. They are best planted in clumps amongst other perennials or shrubs.
Planting Depth: 10-15 cm deep
Height: 50-70 cm
Blooming time: Blooms in Spring
Cultivation: Can be left undisturbed in the ground for years to multiply, however if the summer is particularly wet then lift bulbs after foliage has died down. Store in a cool, well ventilated dry environment, ready to replant the following season.
Position: Full sun/Shelter from the wind
Caution: Harmful if eaten
Planting Time: Plant from March onwards
Soil Position: Plant in a full sun position with some protection from the wind. A slightly alkaline to neutral soil is preferred.
