Soil Position: Prefers to be mass planted in a sunny position, in well drained soil. They are extremely hardy and can handle most conditions, but will benefit from protection from the wind.
Cultivation: To kick start the growing process, soak the bulbs in water for about an hour before planting. Overwatering will rot bulbs. Plant up to double the depth in warm climates.
