Best Use: Salads, Mashing & Baking

Planting Depth: 10 cm deep, mound soil as shoots appear

Position: Full Sun

Harvest In: Harvest 60 - 90 days after the last frost.

Application: Ideally planted in Produce bags, stacked tyres or Vegetable plots to allow mounding of soil or straw as shoots appear.

Planting Time: Plant 2-3 weeks before the last frost usually occurs in your area.

Row Space: Plant 75 cm apart

Soil Position: Rich well drained & moist soil. Prepare soil with well rotted manure or complete fertilizer before planting. Mound soil, mulch or straw around tubers to ensure roots are not exposed to the sun, encouraging formation of more tubers. Rotate potato crops to avoid pest and diseases in the soil. Crop needs to be well watered.

Cultivation: Spread Potatoes out in a well lit warm area for several weeks, until shoots are approximately 1cm long. Tubers can be cut so one or two eyes are evident on each piece, allow pieces to dry before planting. Crop will be ready to harvest after 60 - 90 frost free days after planting. Leaves will begin to die back, lift tubers, dry thoroughly and store in a dark cool place.
