Chilean Guava
A compact evergreen bush with small glossy dark green leaves with new growth tinged red. During Summer the plant is covred in white flowers that are followed by red berries in Summer and Autum. Ideal eaten fresh or can be made into jams and jelies.
Thrives in a variety of positions with some proctection from strong winds. Prefers moist, well drained soils. Prefers full sun although will grow and fruit in part shade. Prune in early spring to maintain desired size and shape. Suitable for pots.
