Keeps mozzies at bay. A dense shrub with fine aromatic foliage that constantly vaporises citronella oil into the atmosphere, confusing mosquitoes. A bonus is the display of massed pink flowers during summer. Suitable for cool temperate to tropical climates; moist clay to sand.
Plant as a hedge at 1.5m centres, or in containers for outdoor living areas. Do not allow pots to dry out. Prune lightly after flowering and feed with low phosphorus native fertiliser. Butterfly attracting.
