March in the garden and the nursery:

What to do in the Garden:
- Green manure time - crops that are to be dug into the soil to help keep up its organic matter content. Cereals like oats and barley give plenty of bulk and peas, beans and lupins add nitrogen to the soil as well
- Onions for storage can be tied in bunches by their dried tops and hung in a cool, dry place
- Start a compost system if you don't already have one
- New lawns can be sown now
- Pot up cyclamen corms from last year. Leave half the corm exposed and feed with a slow release fertiliser.
- Plant spring flowering bulbs such as daffodils,
jonquils, freesias and many more
- Feed citrus
